Shortening buttonholes

A ready-to-wear brand carried out a wear test and found that the buttons on a dress did not close properly. The buttonholes were too big for the buttons.

The brand referred the problem to Berry Services who offered to reduce the opening of each buttonhole, by applying small stitches at one end of the buttonhole.
Once the brand had accepted, Berry Services collected all 5,000 dresses in question from the brand's warehouse to alter them. At a rate of seven buttonholes per dress, the Berry Services teams thus shortened 35,000 buttonholes.

This extremely meticulous service calls for the skills of highly experienced seamstresses and required more than five minutes of work per dress.
