Replacing eyelets

Having delivered a batch of shoes to a French brand, an Asian footwear manufacturer was obliged to take back its goods to bring them into compliance. The buckles on the top of the shoe used to attach the lace were not sufficiently well fixed and came off at the first use.

After a return of the goods already in shops, Berry Services collected the shoes from the brand's warehouse. The Berry Services teams removed the poorly placed buckles from each shoe and replaced them with an eyelet.

This very delicate service, which calls for great care on the part of the operators to avoid damaging the shoes, required more than 10 minutes of work per pair of shoes.
