Fallen clothes

When 3 containers from Asia, each containing 1,000 coats on hangers, were delivered to a French menswear brand’s warehouses, most of the articles were found to be no longer hanging on the bars, having fallen onto the floor.

The brand then asked the transporter to deliver the 3 containers to BERRY SERVICES.

Our team received delivery of the 3 containers and unloaded them. The fallen coats were extracted, carefully ironed and restored to their original condition.
Then BERRY SERVICES chartered 3 lorries to deliver the 3,000 coats to the brand’s warehouse under the correct conditions.

This was a bonded warehouse, allowing BERRY SERVICES to receive delivery of this type of container — which remained subject to customs control — and bring the goods up to standard prior to the application of customs duties.
