Nearly one hundred and sixty people responded to Berry Services' invitation on Saturday. On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, the company located in the Le Fay business park in Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre opened its doors to the public.

Under the guidance of the employees, the visitors, joined by Serge Descout, Chair of the Departmental Council, had the opportunity to discover the many activities of the factory as well as its enormous warehouses. The company’s director, Jean-Claude Benéteau, presented the business’ latest investments. The fifteen-thread embroidery machine, the fabric inspection machine and the metal detector bench all impressed the visitors.

For twenty years now, Berry Services has been constantly innovating, diversifying and expanding. When it was set up in 1998, two or three people packed franc-euro currency converters in a building of 500 m². The company now employs forty people working in a building of 10,000 m². Recognised for its one-of-a-kind expertise in France in the fashion industry, it carries out alteration, inspection, labelling and returns management services and brings in-bond items into compliance for the biggest national and international brands. Twelve mail order sites worldwide now depend on the services of this Neuvy-based service provider. The turnover of nearly three million euros last year testifies to the growth of this company, which is currently the largest employer in the municipality.
