Since it was first set up in 1999 in the Le Fay small business area in Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, Berry Services (packaging for the clothing industry) has undergone a number of changes - development of several services, expansion, etc. "We have grown from 500 m² in 1999 to 5,000 m² today", says Mr Benéteau, the company’s director.

45 employees

It was this successful business story that gave rise to a friendly gathering as part of the open doors day held on Saturday to celebrate the company’s ten years in business. To mark the occasion, a jumper and a T-shirt (worn to work) with the slogan "10 years already" were given out to 45 employees, who invited their friends and family to come and visit their workplace in the afternoon. They were shown a slide show retracing the company’s ten years of business in which the longstanding employees saw themselves and looked back fondly on the various changes undergone.

Over 120 people got together to celebrate Berry Services's anniversary with the employees, who played host for the day! Their task was to show the guests around the site, from textile making to labelling, ironing and packaging, etc. And they even gave their visitors a little tour of the new collection docks. Demonstration tables were set up for the occasion and the employees explained the ins and outs of the company to a very attentive audience.

Nicolas Forissier, the mayor of La Châtre, Guy Gautron, the mayor of Neuvy, and Michel Appert, general councillor, were also there, equally interested and impressed by the experts in ironing, labelling and storage, etc.
